Other Information

I went to visit this cemetery on Saturday July 7, It is the back near a group of trees. I did not go back there all the way because of 3-31/2 feet of prarie grass that is growing around the cemetery.

This excerpt was taken from the book "Cemeteries of Walsh County Volume 25" Published in 1990 by the Red River Genelogical Group.

"No doubt others may have been removed and more here in unmarked graves. We would hope some interested person or group would take an interest in this site to recover it. Since, this was an early part of Walsh County History, it should be preserved as an historical site."

Also, this was the first site of the Garfield Church. That many of the people that are buried there were members of that church.
