Mailing address Rush Colorado.  Legal description: tract in SE corner of SE4 sec 4-15-60. There is a broken down church across the street from the cemetery on Trogilo Rd. It was the Crescent school and church. The land for the cemetery was donated by John Hitchcock in 1908 or 1909. The largetcemetery sign and fence have both recently fallen down  and been removed.

Other_Information: Historical families are buried  here.. In particular Joseph and Edward Jones who fought under the direct command of Gen. George Washington during the Revolutionary war. The Cemetery is 50\' x 50\' last clean up was in 1979 by a Boy Scout troop in new city New York. This  historical  is endangered of neglect.  The Cemetery is located in the back of a private home. The owner is hoping that somebody will restore it. Her contract closing on her home specifically stated that access must be given to this cemetery.

Other_Information: The original cemetery was moved in 1954 to make way for IBM, then again in 1984 for a street extension. It was a total of about 4,500 graves but not well documented. All original headstones were lost during the 1980s. There are many more graves yet to be found on the property.

Other_Information: The state park employees are now in charge of maintaining this cemetery. Any records concerning former patients buried here are sealed by the state. There are 2 separate cemeteries next to each other. Only 3 headstones have survived, the rest went missing years ago to make mowing the area easier.
